Putnam County Schools will be closed January 14, 2025. SAC will be open at NES for participating families. PCSS Transportation officials report that snow and ice continue to impact 16 bus routes in the east and west ends of Putnam County. An additional day of above-freezing temperatures should help

AMS Pre-Registration (only pre-register if your student is brand new to Putnam County)

This Pre-Registration is only for NEW students to Putnam County.  If your student has been in any school in our County before, please call AMS @ 931-537-6141 to complete the transfer.  

If you are a NEW student to Putnam County and want to enroll at AMS...complete the form above.  You will receive an automatic email, indicating the pending approval of your student.  Once your student is approved an email will be forwarded to you to complete the registration.  Once you have completed all the forms, you will need to provide the pertinent documentation to AMS to complete the registration process.  The following documents are required:

*2 proofs of residency

*birth certificate

*social security (requested/not required)

*updated immunizations

*IEP/504...if applicable

*custody/guardianship papers....if applicable

*valid photo ID of parent/guardian
