IMPORTANT MEETINGS FOR EIGHTH GRADERS/PARENTS

Several important dates have been set for high school registration.
February 21 - parent orientation at CHS beginning at 6:30 p.m.
February 24 - high school counselors here to discuss registration
February 27, 28 - rising 9th grader advisement at CHS, 4:00-7:00 p.m.


RED AND WILD - FEBRUARY 10

Seventh and eighth graders are invited to attended the Red and Wild dance from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10. Tickets are $5.00 each and proceeds will go toward paying for the 7th and 8th grade Hunger Games event planned for March.

If you would like to chaperone or donate beverages for the dance, please e-mail Suzanne Swain at sswain@k12tn.net.


VALENTINE'S DAY DELIVERIES

The Student Council will be selling stuffed animals, cupcakes, and candy to be delivered on Valentine's Day. Parents these are great gifts to send. Items range between $2 - $4 each and will be sold through Friday, February 10th. For more information and an order form please click here.

NEW STUDENT HANDBOOK

DOORS LOCKED DURING THE DAY

For the safety of our students, after 8:00 A.M., all of the side doors in the school building will be locked. If you wish to visit the school, please come through the front door and sign in at the office. The front door is the door visible in the photo at the top of this page. A visitor parking lot is available near the front door.

MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Redskins run away from Yellow Jackets

ALGOOD -- For the second time in five days, the Algood football team displayed a powerful running game on its way to an impressive victory. The Redskins ran 27 times for 361 yards to knock off cross-county rival Cornerstone 36-0 on Monday night. Read more.


 
ALGOOD -- Algood Middle School's Odyssey of the Mind team recently competed at the world championships held at the University of Maryland and came in fourth place.
