What a pleasure it is to welcome you to the new Algood Elementary School! It is truly an honor for me to usher in this new school year with a brand new building. The faculty and staff believe in a strong partnership with families and we urge the entire school community to renew your commitment to supporting our public schools. Research has shown that children of parents who get involved in their education do better academically and socially. They feel more connected to school and know that they belong.

We look to this new school year with optimism and excitement. As we work together to continually improve the academic program for all students, we also strive to make our school a safer and more inspiring place in which to learn.
