Algood Middle School is hosting a back-to- school meet and greet from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, for parents who would like to meet their child's teachers.

| New Immunization Requirement |
Attention parents/guardians of students entering the 7th grade: Under new Tennessee Immunization requirement, children entering the 7th grade in 2010 will be required to have a Tdap and Varicella booster. The Health Department will be offering these vaccines free of charge to students currently in the 6th grade daily April 5th - 9th, 2010 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm. Please bring your child's shot record to the visit. For more information, please call the Health Department at 528-2531.

| Doors Locked During the Day |
After 8:00 A.M., all of the side doors in the school building will be locked. If you wish to visit the school, please come through the front door and sign in at the office. The front door is the door visible in the banner at the top of this page. A visitor parking lot is available near the front door.
